Emergency Tree Work by Arbor & Stone

High winds, heavy snow and summer storms can bring down trees and branches across Hampton, Twickenham and the TW postcodes. A tree on a roof, fence, car or road, or a large branch hanging in a canopy, needs dealing with quickly and safely.

Call Arbor & Stone on 07810 540893. We prioritise dangerous trees, make the site safe, then clear and remove everything.

What to do while you wait

  • Keep everyone – including pets – well away from the tree and anything it is resting on
  • Do not try to cut or move the tree yourself; trapped branches can spring back with great force
  • If the tree is touching power lines, stay at least 10 metres away and call 105 (the national power-cut line) or 999 if there is immediate danger
  • Take photos of the damage for your insurer
  • Call us on 07810 540893 – WhatsApp photos help us bring the right kit

How we deal with storm-damaged trees

Our first job is to make the area safe – removing hanging branches, taking the weight off buildings and fences, and clearing paths and driveways. Once the immediate danger is dealt with, we assess the rest of the tree and advise whether it can be kept with remedial pruning or needs to be removed.

We can provide a written quote and photographs to support your insurance claim.

Emergency Tree Work – frequently asked questions

Will my insurance cover a fallen tree?

Home insurance often covers the removal of a tree that has damaged your property, but not always the clean-up of a tree that has fallen without causing damage. Check with your insurer – we can give you a written quote and photos to support a claim.

Who is responsible if a neighbour’s tree falls into my garden?

Generally the owner of the tree is responsible, particularly if the tree was known to be unsafe. Talk to your neighbour and your insurer; we can work with either.

What hours do you work?

We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For a dangerous tree, call 07810 540893 and we will do our best to help as quickly as possible.
